Summarize YouTube videos from captions.
Paste a public YouTube link. Aivoken fetches available captions and turns them into a scannable summary you can review and copy.
Caption-based, not full re-encoding
Aivoken uses available captions when possible, so you avoid heavy audio processing for everyday video notes.
Clear reading notes
Get the main topic, key points, and practical takeaways in a format that is easy to scan and reuse.
Fallback when fetch fails
If captions cannot be loaded, paste a transcript manually and still generate a summary.
YouTube summary questions
Captions, limitations, and how Aivoken turns a video link into notes.
Does every YouTube video work?
No. The video must be accessible and have captions or auto-generated subtitles. Private, age-restricted, region-blocked, or caption-free videos will fail.
Do you download the full video audio?
No. This tool fetches available captions when possible. It does not run free unlimited speech-to-text on arbitrary videos.
What if caption fetch fails?
Open the paste-transcript option, paste captions or notes you already have, and generate a summary from that text. Usage still counts toward your shared Aivoken quota.
